I strive to build surfboards for the more cerebral surfer.. The thinker.. The discerning trimmer who appreciates what makes one board ride differently from another. In most cases this surfer’s goal is not to compete on the professional tour, but more so to travel down the rabbit hole in fully understanding the nuances of what makes a particular surfboard perform to its best abilities.
I apply my formal backgrounds in both robotic engineering and visual fine art to create an experience that harmonizes the surfer, the surfboard, and the wave.
